EXPERIENCE

I have a diverse background of teaching, coaching, and tutoring kids through adults through experiences in private practice, schools, inclusive summer camps, and non- and for- profit organizations. I have experience teaching special education or consulting with public, charter, and Montessori schools. Additionally, I have experience writing white papers and blogs, as well as public speaking and facilitating workshops.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Leading trainings related to executive function skills to various groups and organizations, including Kids in Need of Defense-Atlanta and Jewish Family & Career Services-Atlanta.

  • Leading a session on "Leveraging Social Emotional Learning to Promote Educational Equity" at the National School Boards Association's annual conference in Washington, D.C.

  • Co-authoring a white paper, "Building Equitable, Safe and Supportive Schools: Trauma and Culturally Sensitive Practices for Guidance."

  • Receiving a Governor’s Citation for exemplary work helping individuals and families with life-threatening illnesses at Moveable Feast in Baltimore, MD.
